EMARC Meets with State Representatives, Senators at 2013 ADDP Legislative Luncheon

State legislators met with Massachusetts developmental disability providers during the Association of Developmental Disability Providers’ annual Legislative Luncheon at the State House on January 22^nd. The annual event brings state legislators and developmental disability providers together each year to discuss policy, funding, and the future.

Included at this year's luncheon were Representative James Dwyer, Representative Paul Brodeur, and Senator Katherine Clark. The three met with EMARC Director of Community Relations Maureen O'Brien along with other representatives from Massachusetts developmental disability providers.

The ADDP also honored Senator Clark as their 2013 Senator of the Year. Clark received the award in recognition of her efforts on behalf of disability providers throughout the Commonwealth.
