Krina C. Patel, ESQ.
Ms. Krina Patel joined the firm as an Associate in December, 2008.
Krina manages initiatives among firm Principals and clients, with a
particular concentration in Health Care. Krina assists the firm
Principals in providing legislative counsel to various corporate
interests, trade associations, labor unions, and non-profit
organizations. Krina also supports external communications, research,
legislative tracking, and actively contributes towards lobbying
campaigns.
Krina comes to The Suffolk Group having most recently served at the
Massachusetts Department of Public Health, where she worked with various
government agencies, professional and advocacy groups. Her
experience at DPH included reporting to the Legislature on the
implementation of the Massachusetts Health Care Reform Act regarding
health disparities (Chapter 58 of the Acts of 2006, sec. 110).
Krina was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in December, 2008 after
graduating from Suffolk University Law School in May, 2008 where she was
President of the Health and Biomedical Law Society. She obtained a
Masters degree in Health Policy and Management from the Edmund S. Muskie
School of Public Service at the University of Southern Maine and an
undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Maine.
